As alumni, we all benefitted from the amazing educational opportunities we received at Laurence. But we learned more than academic lessons. We learned study skills, public speaking, painting, and music. We gained confidence and grew wings by spending our days amongst caring and dedicated teachers. Most importantly, we learned to be honest, kind, empathetic, and to give back to our communities.
The Jacobson Legacy Scholarship Fund gives alumni the opportunity to give back by giving the gift of a Laurence education! What better way to honor our school, which gave us an incredible foundation for success!
About the scholarship fund:
Laurence School puts a high value on diversity and inclusiveness. We believe that by drawing from a more varied population, socially, culturally, and economically, our entire community benefits today and will benefit for generations to come.
Inspired by both our Founders, Marvin and Lynn Jacobson, and by our alumni who took their Laurence educations and went forth into secondary schools and beyond with great success, we started this fund with a goal of ensuring support for financial aid to generations to come.
