Mixed Media Painting

This colorful class explores portrait, landscaping, and still life painting with watercolor, acrylic, and endless possibilities!

 

Zippy Crafts with Mrs. Levin

This interactive class will engage everyone as we create fun projects. Imaginations will run wild as kids paste, cut, and draw bringing their own projects to life! Capture that ultimate summer camp feeling as the "make it and take it" unfolds in Zippy Crafts!

Puppet Theatre

Mrs. Stange and Mrs. Woodford
Grades: 3-4
Weeks 1 AND 2*

Join Mrs. Stange and Ms. Woodford in a puppet making class. We will use a variety of materials and learn how to make the puppets come to life. At the end of week 2, we will have a special performance for family and friends. Participants must sign up for both weeks 1 and 2.

Island Campfire Songs & Stories with Ukulele!

Ms. Sorrentino and Mrs. Bruns

Grades: 3-6

Aloha! Participants will create a virtual nighttime, starry-skied, cricket chirping around-the-campfire experience! We will do some cool retro crafting (sit-upons and friendship bracelets, anyone?) sing beloved campfire songs, make & catch our own homemade fireflies in jars, write and tell fun & silly campfire stories, and learn a little ukulele to accompany our sing-along. S’mores and camp t-shirts included!

 

Music Video Creations

Join Mrs. King and Mrs. Bruns in this fun and creative class. You'll work in small groups to recreate a popular song, create movement to it, film around campus, and edit their work on iMovie to produce a final music video. Participants must sign up for both weeks 1 and 2.

Duck, jump, throw, and dodge in this fun dodgeball elective. Campers will work together as a team to protect each other from being hit and strategize how to get the other players out!

We will travel the world and make artwork inspired by each visit. We will be making Shibori shirts from Japan, Porcelain Bowls from China, Italian Frescos, and Gold Incan masks!

Inspired by the ever-popular NPR “Tiny Desk Concert” series, participants in this session will turn their own original songs and jams into short filmed live concerts to share “on-the-air!” Get ready to make some fabulous original tunes and learn a little bit about the world of radio broadcasting!
