Support Community Service at Laurence

There are so many ways to give back to the community and support service learning at Laurence! Please remember that EVERY Friday, we collect donations for the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry, and the 4th Graders collect cans and plastic bottles for recycling (no glass), the proceeds of which go to support a charity of their choice at the end of the school year. All students, including bus riders, can drop their donations and recycling items at morning carpool areas in both Victory and Woodman lots.

Also, be sure to mark your calendars for our annual SOUP-er Bowl during morning drop-off on Friday, February 2nd. Bring in cans of soup to vote for which Super Bowl team you want to win the Laurence SOUP-er Bowl!

On Sunday, March 11th from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., we will also hold our annual Super Service Sunday, benefitting our school's four partner charities: North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry, the Lowman School, Boys & Girls' Club of San Fernando Valley, and L.A. Family Housing. More details about what to bring will be sent in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, please save any books or DVDs your family is getting rid of to donate on Super Service Sunday!

Thank you for Representing the "L"!
