From Our Head of School

Head of School Laurie Wolke and student

Dear Prospective Family,

We appreciate your interest in Laurence School and look forward to helping you learn about our school and the admissions process.

A confident and happy beginning to your child's elementary school experience is incredibly important. For that we reason, we invite you to visit and explore our five-acre campus during one of our many prospective parent visitations this fall.

During your visit, you will tour the school with our 6th Grade student ambassadors, meet our administrators, and visit our classrooms – in short, you will experience for yourself the one-of-a-kind elementary school experience that we offer. We know that you will feel the Laurence magic when you see our smiling students and walk through our campus. You will also discover a warm and embracing community that is proud of its rich history and strong traditions.

For 70 years, Laurence School has been known for its academic excellence, personalized approach to education, and commitment to educating the "Total Child." We emphasize 21st-century learning skills through our innovative and enriched curriculum and by focusing on the individual development of each student from Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Our multi-faceted program encourages intellectual, creative, ethical, social, emotional, and physical growth.

We strive to make the Laurence admissions process an enjoyable, welcoming experience for all applicant families. If you have any questions or we can assist you in any way, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Laurie Wolke
Head of School
