  1. Visit Laurence
    Visiting Laurence is an important part of the admissions process. Click here to learn more and schedule a visit.
  2. Families Who Are New to Laurence: Inquiries and Admissions Portal
    Please begin by submitting an Inquiry Form. There, you will have the opportunity to schedule a visit to Laurence if you haven't done so already. Once your Inquiry Form has been submitted you will receive an email with login information to our Admissions Portal, which will allow you to continue with the application process. 

    Sibling and Faculty/Staff Families: Admissions Portal
    Once applications are open, please begin by logging into the Admissions Portal using your current parent or faculty/staff username and password, which will allow you to continue with the application process.

    • $150 application fee (non-refundable)
    • Recent (wallet-size) photo of your child and a family photo (either uploaded online or emailed to
    • Previous reports ( i.e., report cards, testing, etc.) where applicable
  5. Transcript and Recommendation Forms
    Submit your signed Transcript and Recommendation Forms to your child's current teacher through the Admissions Portal. Instructions will be provided to the teacher regarding how to submit the completed forms directly to Laurence School. For new applicants, these forms must be completed by your child's teacher. 
  6. Parent Meeting
    In our effort to get to know one another better, we request that applicant parents schedule a personal meeting with a member of our Admissions Team. 
  7. Applications for Grades 1-6
    Once you have submitted an application for a grade other than kindergarten, we will notify you when we know whether we may have an opening in the appropriate grade level. At that time, we will invite your child for a readiness evaluation with a member of our Admissions Team.
  8. Laurence School's Sibling & Legacy Policy
    We consider ourselves a family school and try to keep families together. Siblings of current Laurence students will be given preference when all other factors are equal, including admissions qualifications and the family’s positive relations with, involvement in, and support of the school. Parents should realize, however, that no one is guaranteed admission, and we urge all applicants, including siblings and children of alumni, to apply to additional schools.
  9. Admission Decisions for the 2024-2025 school year will be emailed at 5:00 p.m. on March 8, 2024. Parent admissions responses are due no later than noon on March 15, 2024.
