Julianna Souisa

Julianna Souisa joined Laurence in 2022, working closely with the Head of School and senior administrative team. She’s a trusted partner in advancing the school’s strategic priorities, managing executive and Board of Trustees operations, and ensuring the effective coordination of schoolwide initiatives. 

Before joining Laurence, Julianna built a career in independent school administration, athletics leadership, and program management. She served as Executive Assistant to the Head of Athletics at Harvard-Westlake, where she helped manage department coordination, communication, and special projects while also teaching and coaching. Throughout her career, Julianna held leadership positions with several successful youth athletic organizations, overseeing operations, budgeting, communications, marketing, and large-scale program development. Julianna also spent over a decade as a director and coach for elite club volleyball programs in Los Angeles, leading her teams to top national finishes. 

Julianna holds a Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, Irvine, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Northridge. 

Outside of Laurence, Julianna enjoys learning new sports and spending time outdoors (a few favorites being hiking, paddle boarding, and running) with her husband, Jon, and their two dogs. After her collegiate volleyball career, Julianna started running. She enjoys participating in 5Ks, 10Ks, and recently some destination half marathons, just for fun. As a family, they love going on road trips. With their dogs, Chase and Rado, Julianna and Jon have traveled to over 10 states, Canada, and visited nearly 20 National Parks.
