What is a Capital Campaign?
Capital campaigns raise funds for long-term projects, such as further development of the campus, building new buildings and expanding our facilities. This is different from the Laurence Fund, our annual giving campaign, which raises funds on an annual basis that support the school's day-to-day operating budget.
Our current capital campaign is called Lead the Way. Please read below or click on the pictures to the right to learn more. If you are interested in learning more details or giving to the campaign, please contact our Advancement Office at (818) 782-4001 x 257 or email.
Lead the Way Capital Campaign
Lead the Way is Laurence School’s most ambitious and dynamic capital campaign effort yet. Phase I of this new Capital Campaign will support our exciting campus expansion and allow the Laurence community to benefit from on-campus secured parking, improved traffic flow, additional green space and an overall enhanced campus perimeter. This campaign takes Laurence School into the future as possibilities of this expansion include more program enhancements, additional classrooms and creative spaces – potentially elevating our existing visual and performing arts programs and putting a greater emphasis on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).Whereas the Laurence Fund supplements the current school year's operating budget to provide the kind of curricular and enrichment experiences that define a Laurence education, the Capital Campaign builds new buildings, adding onto and improving upon our already beautiful campus and ensuring its vitality for generations to come.
