Instrumental music is available for all K-6th grade students. Violins and recorders are offered to K—1st grade students in the Junior Orchestra. A wide variety of string and wind instruments, including the violin, saxophone, clarinet, and flute, are offered to 2nd—6th grade students at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. The orchestra program culminates with performances during winter and spring concerts. Advanced students participate in a city-wide Elementary Orchestra Honors Performance at UCLA.
