Buddy Program

Laurence children practice making a difference through our Buddy program, in which older students mentor younger ones through meaningful, social activities. For many of our students, this time is the highlight of the week. Year after year, these relationships blossom into enduring, caring friendships that are mutually beneficial and often last beyond Laurence graduation. The older children have the opportunity to practice responsibility and to serve as positive role models, while the younger students receive one-on-one attention and develop a sense of belonging to the school community.
