We like to think of Laurence School as a "Secret Garden" of knowledge, where our students come to discover the many ways to love learning.
Our curriculum is balanced to incorporate strong traditional academics with experiential learning and a multitude of ways for each child to engage with his or her lessons.
Laurence's curriculum also emphasizes character education, which focuses on children's social, emotional, and behavioral development, as well as provides a diverse enrichment program, that not only introduces children to extra-curricular activities and the arts, but also provides them with an important outlet for creative expression and energy that helps them develop confidence, thinking skills, and an understanding of their interests and talents.
Laurence takes a cross-curricular approach, integrating all three aspects - traditional academic learning, character education, and enrichment classes - throughout the school's academic program. The result is that Laurence truly educates the "Total Child."
